Important info for Volunteers:
The volunteers should check in at the Welcome Desk for Staff through entrance off Yonge street. Jeang Yen Han will be the primary contact for the student volunteers after arrival and they will meet her in the Registration Room after checking in. Jeang will also track attendance.
Convocation 2024 is quickly approaching, a time that represents the successful culmination of all our students’ hard work at George Brown College. The Convocation Team is pleased to invite you to be part of this important occasion. We rely on our wonderful George Brown community to help ensure the ceremonies are as successful and as memorable as possible for our graduates and their guests.
You can help to make convocation week special for our graduates, their families and friends while celebrating all the work that faculty and staff do at the College. As staff support, you can also enjoy the following:
- Free lunch for full-day staff
- Opportunity to share your GBC pride with our graduates and their families.
We’ll be hosting 9 ceremonies this year – one on Monday and two ceremonies Tuesday through Friday.
- Monday, June 10: Ceremony begins at 2:45 p.m. (call time 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
- Tuesday, June 11 – Friday, June 14: Ceremonies begin at 10:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. (call time 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
