Student Volunteers will be assigned as Monitors and responsibilities may include greeting graduates as they arrive, directing them through the venue, monitoring traffic flow, and assisting with the late grad gowning process. The number of volunteers needed for each of these duties will vary from ceremony to ceremony, according to shifting priorities and needs, so volunteers should be prepared to help with any of the duties.
Our Monitor Team Lead will provide training onsite, and we will serve a meal between ceremonies (there are two meals on the Tuesday)
Important Information for Volunteers: The volunteers should check in at the Welcome Desk for Staff through the entrance off Yonge street. Liz Henriques will be the primary contact for the student volunteers after arrival, and they will meet her in the Registration Room after checking in. Liz will also track attendance.
